Basic Filmmaking

Six consecutive Sundays Instructor: Jordan Stone An introduction to the fundamentals of filmmaking with the emphasis on independent personal work. There are 6 weekly sessions. Each class deals with a different aspect of filmmaking, cinematography, lighting, sound, editing, etc. 16mm & S8mm filmmaking are covered. Optical Printing

Three consecutive Saturdays 2pm-5pm Instructor: Kelly Spivey This is an intermediate-level class on the use and creative implications of the J-K Optical Printer. After completing this class a member is eligible to rent time on the Millennium’s printer. Workshop Fee – $150 plus $20 Membership The class is limited to 6 people. Places fill fast! FinalCut Pro Editing

Sunday Afternoons, 2pm-5pm Instructor: Jordan Stone This class will introduce you to the basics of desktop editing using the Final Cut Pro system. The fundamentals of digital video will be thoroughly discussed. The instructor will guide you through all of the steps in the post-production process. The emphasis will be on the technical as well as the artistic implications of this discipline. Workshop Fee – $200 plus $20 Membership Registration and Information
